I used to think that by this stage of my life, everything would already be figured out.
I thought dreams had expiration dates.
I thought there was a timeline for success.
I thought certain opportunities belonged to younger versions of ourselves.
I was wrong.
Life has taught me that purpose does not always arrive on our schedule.
Sometimes our greatest calling is discovered after heartbreak.
Sometimes our dreams are born in seasons of uncertainty.
Sometimes we become who we were meant to be because of the very things we never would have chosen for ourselves.
Today, I look around and realize something beautiful.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree as an adult learner.
I built a website and created a platform dedicated to helping families feel less alone.
I became an advocate.
I became a writer.
I am preparing to publish a book.
I found my voice.
And many of these things happened in the second half of my life, not the first.
If you had asked me years ago if this would be my path, I would have said no.
Yet somehow, every detour, every heartbreak, every challenge, and every unexpected chapter led me exactly here.
Maybe you are waiting for permission to pursue your dreams.
Maybe you think you are too old.
Maybe you think you missed your chance.
Maybe you believe your circumstances have disqualified you.
They haven’t.
Your story is still unfolding.
There is still purpose in you.
There are still dreams waiting to be realized.
And perhaps, just perhaps, you are exactly where you are meant to be.
Growing.
Learning.
Becoming.
Trust the timing of your life.
The dream that lives in your heart may be arriving right on time.
With love and in solidarity,
Missez M
